WOW! Cable Service Problem Resolved, Official Says

Michigan general manager says bandwidth issue caused outages that frustrated residents in Shelby Township, Utica and surrounding areas.

Instead of catching the season premiere of Downton Abbey on Sunday night, many WOW! customers found themselves without cable service. Residents in Shelby Township, Utica and surrounding areas have reported problems with their WOW! cable service during the first week of January, however a WOW! official said Monday that the issue has been resolved. Robert DiNardo, vice president and general manager for the WOW! Michigan region, said Monday afternoon that problems causing video service issues on three recent dates have been resolved as of 10 p.m. Sunday. DiNardo said a bandwidth issue caused pixelation/tiling on some channels on Jan. 1, Jan. 2 and Jan. 6. "On some of the channels those little boxes would scatter across the screen and break up…

Totally agree! Good luck trying to call them, tried multiple times over 3 days & never got through, always a busy signal. I've had WOW for years & have always received great service, quick response times, good pricing but have to say ever since they switched over to digital have had nothing but problems.
