A St. Clair Shores driver who struck the pedestrian Sunday night stayed on the scene.
A 27-year-old Macomb Township man died Sunday night in a Clinton Township accident, police said Monday morning. Around 11 p.m., a pickup truck crashed into the Macomb pedestrian on Hall Road near Dalcoma. The pickup driver, a 53-year-old St. Clair Shores man, stayed on the scene while the Macomb man was rushed to the hospital, according to Clinton Township police. Police reported that alcohol or speed did not appear to be a factor and no charges were filed against the driver by Monday. Witnesses are asked to call Clinton Township police to help their investigation.
