Eisenhower, Dakota to Meet Again on Football Field

Eagles and Cougars will have rematch in first round of high school football playoffs.

Eisenhower and Dakota will face off again in the first round of the state high school football playoffs, the MHSAA announced Oct. 23. Eisenhower, the champion of the MAC Red Division, defeated Dakota 33-21 in the regular season. Eisenhower is 8-1 overall, and Dakota is 6-3. The two teams will meet in the playoff game at Utica High School's Swinehart Field at 7 p.m. Friday

Eagles and Cougars will meet Friday night in a showdown between the top two teams in the MAC Red Division.

Friday night’s high school football game between Dakota and Eisenhower provides big excitement. The game, which kicks off at 7 p.m. at Utica’s Swinehart Field, will feature the two top teams in the MAC Red Division. The winner will take sole possession of first place and hold the inside track for the league championship. In addition, Eisenhower will celebrate its homecoming. That’s big.
