The Shelby Township and Utica libraries offer a wide selection of presidential biographies, histories of the office itself and children's books for those looking to learn a little more about America's past commanders-in-chief. Not sure how interesting a U.S. president can be? Here are some cool facts about our past presidents that you probably didn't know. The Shelby Township and Utica libraries will be closed in observation of Presidents Day, but will reopen Tuesday at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., respectively.

There will be no mail delivery on Monday, Feb. 18, as Presidents Day is observed by the U.S. Post Office.
Government offices, schools, post offices and courts may be closed Monday, Feb. 18, but Presidents Day will not affect scheduled trash collection in Shelby Township or Utica. The holiday will, however, affect mail service. As Presidents Day is observed by the U.S. Post Office, mail will not be delivered or sent on Monday. Service will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
