Sorrento Pizza Continues to Raise Dough for Veterans Support Center in 2013

A portion of all sales from the "General," an extra large pizza, are earmarked for the support of veterans and their families throughout Macomb County. There are two Sorrento Pizza locations in Shelby Township and Utica.

With a portion of proceeds dedicated to the support of local veterans and their families, there can be no guilt in ordering an extra large Sorrento Pizza in Shelby Township and Utica this year. Launching the "Support Our Troops" campaign in 2011 to raise money for the Veterans Support Center, Sorrento Pizza owner Al Marino said his stores will continue their fundraising efforts through 2013. “It’s something my business can do to help our vets today,” Marino said in a prepared statement. “I see vets coming home now who need help and I know they will get the help they need at the Veterans Support Center.
