Alisa Reseigh, Neighbor

I am a wife, mother and recovering perfectionist. I'm married to my best friend Jay who is my true partner in crime and we can concur the world together. We have two amazing sons that are 7 years apart. They will heretofore be referred to as Ray and JJ.

In addition to being a loving wife and most of the time calm and collected mother, I have a full-time career working for the U.S. Army. I utilize my degree from Oakland University in Elementary Education with a Major in Language Arts on a day to day basis. Writing presentations, policies, and reports is part of my daily job behind the desk. However, writing about my family adventures, stories, and mishaps is my true passion. Although I love scrapbooking, I have recently found that it is close to impossible to pull out paper, scissors, glue, and stickers without sharing with my sons. Therefore, the baby books only get done if a can figure out how to break away for a night or two with no extra "helping" hands. Until then, I have recently grown fond of blogging to capture my family moments.

Although I am rather new to the "Blogging World" I've already grown attached to some of my favorite Authors and neighbors on The Patch. I am always on the lookout for the best products at the best price, and loved spreading the word about new products, events, and sites to my family, friends, and online readers.

Some may call me a control freak with my color coded calendar. Others may call me a penny pincher, for cutting coupons and making crafts by hand instead of buying them premade.  But I'm hoping you will soon call me a friend and neighbor so we can share information and stories together. I can typically find fun and laughter in almost any situation and I look forward to sharing some laughs with you.
