Howdy! I have been a fixture of Michigan's eastside entertainment scene for over 25 years as an event planner, hostess/emcee, model, former professional cheerleader, bartender and as a writer. As CCO of CK Media I've handled the Marketing/PR/Social Media of several of SE Michigan's premiere restaurants, nightclubs and bars so

I like to think I know my way around a good time since life is meant to be lived and I practice what I preach (hey, who has two thumbs and a Guinness World Record? This girl!) My extensive experience in fun things to do--whether it is a cardboard regatta, fundraiser, outdoor music event, theme party or book signing--and mindboggling number of contacts makes me a perfect candidate to bring to you a weekly entertainment column to you fun loving nightlifers. 

In both high school and college, I was active in Cheerleading and Journalism, with the former contributing to the positive, enthusiastic attitude sometimes needed for the latter. I have written freelance pieces since 1991 for several local papers, including The Voice, Macomb Monthly, Real Detroit Weekly and was the Editor of Inside Macomb Magazine. I have been extensively quoted in most every newspaper in SE Michigan while I represented clients during my public relations work. I feel very lucky to have realized yet another dream--to write for the new wave of reporting: online journalism.
