I am a mom, wife, friend, co-worker and Shelby Township resident.  I am married to Joe Youngblood and we are raising 7 year old Molly and 3 year old Brady in Shelby Township, our home town.  My husband and I both graduated from Utica Eisenhower.  I went on to college at Western Michigan and law school at Wayne State.  I am currently employed as the Human Resources Director for   E-Connect, Inc., a Troy based full service human resources consulting firm. 

We have a remarkable little boy who has been diagnosed with a chromosomal disorder that has affected all stages of his development.  Brady is happy, mischevious and pretty oblivious to his special needs.  We, as his family, are aware of the challenges that face him, but are all on this journey together.  I am trying to embrace the difficult road we must learn to navigate.  I am looking to share my experiences with other parents of children with special needs, their families, their teachers, their loved ones and anyone else who might want to travel this winding road with us.
