ReplyHello, readers. Read the story again. It wasn't award-winner Renee Lower who suggested Bayer products. It was Ms. Cunningham, an employee at Bordine's.

ReplyI agree. It's extremely difficult to watch teens get tough life lessons. When I talk to experts about it or close friends who are wise, they always tell me that those tough times will build great character in the future. Hard to tell a teen that, but I do, as often as I can. Even last night while driving one of my kids somewhere, I took the opportunity to chat with him about a particular issue, listen to him and then say, "Yes, it's rotten it really is, but it's reality and we will get through it." He heard me.

Thanks, Nancy. I know. Those pink orchids really pop, don't they? Until spring is finally here in Mich., it's nice to have some colors inside, isn't it? Even a trip to Planterra in W. Bloomfield is sure to stir us from our snowy slumber.

ReplyHi, Laura. I think you should definitely take an art class at the BBAC. I've been taking classes there for several years now and it's a wonderful place. The teachers are topnotch and the student shows are fantastic. The place is one of the area's most creative hubs, to be sure.
