What to try? Start off with the Hog Rolls—housemade dough stuffed with mozzarella and fresh pulled pork served with BBQ dipping sauce—then move on to perhaps the Caramelized Pear Salad or Chicken Avocado Cobb Salad. Mike's Mac & Cheese is creamy and generous in portion, the basil and roma chicken sandwich is divine, and all their offerings from the smokehouse are mouth-watering. Above all, everything is affordable.

Behind the bar, try a Cass Avenue Cosmo or a Downtown Utica Dirty—the latter made of Absolut Vodka, Bombay Gin, Dry Vermouth a splash of olive juice and a fat premium stuffed olive inside.

"If you ask for something and we don't have it, we will have it next time for you," says bartender Paula Gruba. "We are all about making things happen for our guests."
