River Bends Flea Market Set For Saturday

Find one-of-a-kind items, more at garage sale in park.

Looking for a one-of-a-kind item or just interested in browsing through a collection of inexpensive and, in most cases, preowned goods? Mark your calendar for the annual River Bends Flea Market, set for July 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the park.

Residents purchase spots to set up their wares in and nearby the parking lot. Visitors stroll through the tables, many of which are filled with household goods, clothes, antiques and collectibles, toys and baby items, and more. Artists and crafters also set up tables to showcase their collection of handmade items.

The event is also handy for those wishing to have a garage sale, but don't want the hassle of set up at their home. Rental is $10 for a 15x15 space if purchased before July 24. If space is available the morning of the event, rental is $15. Participants should bring their own tables, chairs, displays and sun and rain protection.
